About us

Mission

We create a space where a person who holds others can be heard, recover their strength and regain a sense of choice. We do this through groups: psychodrama, peer-support circles, and training for the people who support others.

Vision

A country where asking for support is as natural as seeing a dentist, and where every community has a place to bring a hard experience without being left alone with it.

Values

Action. We do not persuade people to “think differently”. We offer them to live it differently: to enact, to see, to try. That is why psychodrama.

Honesty in measurement. We count results and publish them together with what did not work. Donors and participants have the right to know what actually changed.

Boundaries. We know what we can and cannot do. Psychological help is provided only by a professional with the relevant degree. Facilitators of non-clinical formats work under her supervision and give no clinical advice. If someone needs a different kind of help, we help them find it.

History

2022–2026. Volunteer work: [N] sessions for [N] people in [city/places]. Groups for [target group], resilience practice for [●], meetings at [library/space]. We noticed that most requests came not from those directly affected, but from those next to them: wives, mothers, teachers, volunteers. They find it hardest to ask for help, because they are used to giving it.

2026. We registered the NGO Spilni Dukhom to work systematically: with measurement, supervision, partners and accountability to donors. We chose our focus: defenders’ families and the people who hold others.

How decisions are made

The highest body is the general meeting of members. The director represents the organisation and signs documents. Decisions on the remuneration of a member are taken without that member’s participation. Full text in the charter.
